There are those who are darn sure of what they want to do in life, and those who know what they want but do not know the way. Aditya belongs to the latter sect. A wanderer who wants to choose both the ways that diverged in the wood, he has never settled for any absolute, nor ever will.
Being emotionally driven with values as base, Aditya aims to wipe away the atrocities many children have to go through for the sake of ‘learning’. He believes in the possibility of multi-level transaction between one another, between one and the self, between the living and the static, and also between what’s felt and that which is numb.
Is it time to address the elephant in the room? Probably the one yawing in the room.

Who is an elephant? The one big thing walking on four legs, a short tail and big ears. That only counts for the incomplete physical traits. His feelings, hunger, desires and imagination are some to start considering with.

For now let us try to consider the yawning man here. How much does a child grow after birth in 9 months or how much a plant grows in 9 months or how much the Milky Way galaxy grow in a span of 9 months. The answer to each varies and hence cannot validate the predefine reference of time. But in reference any of the time frame for this yawing man, they have been productive and growing.

The word “elephant” comes from the Greek word “elephas” which means “ivory”. One is usually identified through ones best or worst practices. Having sailed in both boats, the fellowship journey taught some crucial lessons. During school visits, the kids usually associate me with certain aspects or activity conducted in previous visits that has been my elephas. During initial visits I would conduct activities and games such as Sudoku, story writing, bach(table of 3), drawing and many others, so kids would associate me only to those and when I would want to teach something, either they would become sad and unhappy. Hence learnt not to define oneself or others by one act and have the patience to change that. Eventually I learnt to teach kids through actives and games. My elephas contributing in my interventions.

The tusks of an elephant are modified incisors that grow throughout an elephant’s lifetime. I don’t know about the tusks which usually humans lack but our understanding grows throughout our lifetime. One such example would be how I went from no planning to plan hourly. I believed I can go spontaneous, ‘go with the flow’ that worked for the day though but could not contribute to the week and harmed the monthly vision. Though it was again about finding balance between planning and spontaneity hence enhancing planning ability and risk taking ability competency.

There are many other traits of the elephant, I want to connect each. How elephants can walk and fast walk but can’t jump, trot or gallop similarly how I learned to cover the land cover and land efficiently but reach the desired spot on time. The elephant’s very large ears are used to radiate excess heat away from the body. Reflecting how do I radiate heat, violence, aggression, passive aggression? Words form a better way to communicate when put in NVC.

The yawning man will still yawn drooling in his abyss. But reflecting and understanding of self and surrounding has been the contributions of fellowship.
